Sukacita dimaklumkan bahawa, pihak Jabatan Perkhidmatan Digital (UTMDigital) akan mengadakan Program Fast Track Microsoft : Microsoft Teams Meeting Workshop. Untuk makluman, Microsoft Teams merupakan alat bantu (tool) komunikasi dan kolaborasi bekerja yang boleh membantu organisasi meningkatkan produktiviti kerja staf. Inisiatif ini adalah selaras dengan peranan UTMDigital sebagai Pemacu Universiti Digital yang akan membantu warga kampus menggunakan teknologi sepanjang tempoh pandemik Covid-19.

Google Workspace for Education Plus Roadshow

Since 2015, Google Workspace for Education has been subscribed and used by UTM. Google Workspace for Education software is a group of software that combines various software such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Collaboration Tools (Docs, Sheets & Slides) and Google Meet. Originally this service was provided free of charge with unlimited storage capacity by Google to all education institution. As a result of the Covid-19 strike, Google has changed its business strategy. Effective from 1st July 2022, Google will charge license fees to all organization or education institution accounts as well as UTM. Organizations that do not subscribe to the Google Workspace entitle to have a limited services with a maximum storage space of 100TB. On top of that, other Google application facilities will also be affected.

In order to ensure high availability of email services and data security as well as to carry out various teaching, learning, research and management activities, UTM has subscribe a paid Google Workspace for Education Plus package. A new Google storage capacity limit will be imposed for each user according to user category. Therefore, all users are required to perform housekeeping for their emails, files and photos in their Google storage to ensure that it meets below the given storage limit.

UTMDigital has organized a series of roadshows with staff and students to share information regarding this Google Workspace for Education Plus. Beside that, essential steps to ensure their Google storage is below the allocated limit was shared too.

Submit
  1. Open to all UTM’s student and staff without any fees.
  2. You will be given e BIB through registered email.
  1. The running distance is 5KM.
  2. You are allowed to run, walk or jog.
  3. Run anywhere anytime on your preferable running paths. Even a treadmill is allowed.
  4. You are required to record the distance using any Running Apps such as Strava, Garmin, Nike, Fitbit, Map Runner or Leap Fitness.
  5. To complete the running distance, you may accumulate a maximum of three runs. However, you are encouraged to finish the run at once.
  6. Only non-stop runners of 5km in a single run are entitled to a lucky draw. Refer “About The Lucky Draw”.
  1. You are required to submit running evidence (refer to “About The Evidence” below).
  2. You will only be considered successful once the submission process is completed.
  3. You will received an e certificate through the registered email.
  4. Successful runners are entitled to :
    1. UTMACAD merit points (for student).
    2. Sports involvement for LNPT/LPPT (for staff).
  5. The organiser reserves the right to cancel the entry if there are fraud elements in the run.
  6. The referee’s decision is final. No appeal will be entertained.

About The Evidence :

  1. The evidence should be in image or pdf format.
  2. The evidence must have all the following information:
    1. Distance (5KM or more)
    2. Running date (15 to 31 July 2022)
    3. Running period
    4. Running pace
    5. Running route
    6. Apps account
    7. Participant’s picture
  3. Participants is only required to submit the evidence once. If there are several pieces of evidence of the run (up to three), the participant must combine them into a single attachment.
  4. You may refer to given example.

About The Lucky Draw :

  1. Who is the lucky one?
    1. A successful runner of 5km with a single run.
    2. Submit the evidence before the closing date (11.59 pm, 31 July 2022).
    3. Join the Lucky Draw event (physical/ online).
  2. The Lucky Draw event will be held on 4 August 2022 during Majlis Sambutan 50 tahun UTM peringkat UTMDigital. The event’s details will be updated once confirmed.
  3. A total of 10 prizes will be given to the lucky participants.
  4. Prizes can be claimed at the UTMDigital Office the day after the lucky draw event.
